My Equipment

I currently shoot with the Canon EOS Rebel T7. It is a solid beginner to intermediate DSLR Camera, but I intend to upgrade to a mirrorless camera in the near future, so I can improve my weatherproofing, wildlife shots, and dynamic range.

My favorite lens is the Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM zoom lens. I sometimes use the Canon EFS 24mm prime and the Canon EF 50mm prime. I very rarely use the Canon EFS10-18mm. I usually am standing far away from my subject and need the zoom to get the intimate landscapes I enjoy. When I upgrade to a mirrorless, I will continue to emphasize the super-telephoto distance as my primary lens.

I use Adobe Lightroom Cloud for my processing. I have experimented with classic and the web browser version, and I don’t love them. I have also experimented with Photoshop and I find it too time intensive. The Cloud Lightroom version is straightforward and does anything I need for my minimal processing approach.
